Lawrence Spinetta previously led U.S. Air Force RQ-4 Global Hawk operations, responsible for a $22 million annual budget and 650 people at six locations worldwide. An unmanned aircraft expert, Lawrence also commanded the U.S. Air Force’s MQ-1 school house.
As a command pilot, Lawrence is a former F-15 fighter pilot who flew 65 combat sorties over Iraq and the former Yugoslavia. He was selected to serve on the J-7 Force Development Directorate of the Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, DC. Additionally, he served as a Checkmate strategist on the Air Staff and as an International Affairs Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.
He holds a B.S. (Economics and Operations) from the U.S. Air Academy, a Master in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and a PhD (Military Strategy) from the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies.
